M - Fine Motor - Learners will continue to work on their Nursery Rhyme book 'Twinkle, Twinkle LIttle Star'. Learners reviewed the other rhymes that they have learned. They especially like 'London Bridges Falling Down! Learners worked on the letter Pp in their ABC Workbook too.
T - Learners will work on the Word Family -in in their Word Family book with brainstorming as many words as you can.
W - Fine Motor - Practice writing their letters A - Z on paper and with shaving cream.
Th - The four learners today worked on writing their own ABC's on the white board and then reviewing the CVC cards and writing the words on the white board and sharing. We finished with reviewing all of our Nursery Rhymes in our booklets.

T - Today we worked on completing work from last Thursday. The Orange Group worked on writing sentences wit using some of our known sight words and the Green Group worked on reading for comprehension and fluency.
W - Today is World Kindness Day and we did a whole group activity. We first brainstormed what kindness means to them and then we discussed ways to be kind to others. I read the book Kindness A to Z by . As I did a read aloud, we discussed other ways to show kindness for each letter of the alphabet. When I was done reading we all moved on to the activity that I had planned on Kindness. Each learner was given a pennant to complete - I can show kindness by..... The learners were instructed to color the outside and the top letters with crayons if they chose too.
Th - All learners were very eager and ready to be engaged in my activities today. We reviewed the Nursery Rhyme "Humpty Dumpty" and highlighted our target letter "Hh' and discussed the Sight Words that we circled. We then moved onto the next Nursery Rhyme Itsy Bitsy Spider. Our Target Letter today was the letter 'Ee". We discussed this rhyme and highlighted the sight words: the, a and and. We practiced both Nursery Rhymes by heart and did the actions to Itsy Bitsy Spider. We ended with highlighting all of the letter Mm in our ABC Booklets with markers.

It took a while as each learner had to recite the ABC song in order to find the correct letter. / We closed with playing "What's in the Letter Bag"? The learners were instructed to pull out a letter from the bag and to identify it on their paper and color it in. We took turns as we went along.

M- Fine Motor Activities / First, learners were given shaving cream and were instructed to write their names in the cream after they had spread it around in table in front of them. Next, they were instructed to listen very closely and write the letter of the alphabet that I had written on the whiteboard in front of them in their shaving cream. Lastly, they had to make the sound that went along with that specific letter. They had a blast and even got to be messy with the shaving cream even though it was a learning experience for them.
T- Letter Arches: Each learner was handed a Letter Arch workmat and a bag of blue Upper Case Letters. The learners were then instructed to match each blue letter with the Letter Mat page. Next we each identified a letter and gave the sound. Went over a few flash cards too. Last, Mrs. Cassutt handed out an ABC Book to each learner and they were to color all upper case and lower case letter Aa's .

Th- Mrs. Cassutt handed out the ABC Books for each learner to color all of the letter B's. / With a partner the groups of pairs will be able to arrange and identify as many letters of the alphabet as possible. Worked in the Common's on tables for more space.
